About me
Arajmand, the visionary architect behind the Office for Urban Architecture (OUA), is celebrated for blending cultural heritage with modern innovation to redefine architectural excellence. With a passion for design that began early in life, Arajmand has dedicated years to mastering the art and science of architecture, establishing OUA as a beacon of creativity and sustainability in the region.
Arajmand’s educational journey began at the prestigious Tyndale Biscoe School, which laid a strong foundation of discipline and creativity. Pursuing higher education, Arajmand earned a degree in Architecture from the esteemed M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore. During college, Arajmand actively participated in numerous architectural competitions, showcasing exceptional talent and innovation. Notable achievements include contributions to competition projects such as Bangalore International Airport Limited, Bangalore, where Arajmand was a finalist and whose ideas were honored; becoming a finalist in the Future Housing competition at IIT Roorkee; and winning an architectural competition hosted for SAARC countries. Additionally, Arajmand secured victories in various inter-college architectural competitions across India, cementing a reputation for excellence and creativity early on.
Experience
Arajmand’s professional journey began in Bangalore, where they honed their expertise while working with renowned firms such as BNA, Sublime, and VBT Consortium. During this time, Arajmand worked on projects for companies like Bagmane Tech Park, Nitesh, Valmark, Windsor Troika, Sterling, RNZ and many more, cumulatively contributing to over 10 lakh square feet of constructed projects. These experiences laid a strong foundation for architectural innovation and practical excellence.
Following their impactful tenure in Bangalore, Arajmand gained invaluable international experience working with celebrity architect Tony Ashai in Dubai. Notably, Arajmand contributed to the landmark residential project Royal Estates by Shahrukh Khan, where the interior design was crafted by Gauri Khan. Exposure to world-class design practices and iconic projects in Dubai shaped a global perspective on architecture, enriching Arajmand’s approach to design.
